The Dinosaur Tail
Curt and I like to walk in the summer. We are like the tortoise and the hare. I'm the tortoise and and Curt is the hare. I like to take walks up the canyon and Curt likes to take the walks up the hills. This is one of the hikes Curt likes to take. Up the Dinosaur tail.

Weekend project
This is what it looked like last year around our mail box. If you look close enough you can actually see a rabbit sitting by the little bush.
It only took us 2 years and 4 hours to decide what we wanted to do with this corner. This is what we decided to do. It didn't take us as long as we thought.
This is the cottonwood tree in front of our house. It's one of the reasons I liked the house because I liked this big tree. I can just imagine a big tree house in there. I have a love / hate relationship with this tree. I love the leaves when they are on the tree but it's a full time job in the fall and spring to get all the leaves picked up. There is also a problem that the aphids love this tree and unless I get this real expensive stuff and feed this tree it leaks all over the house lawn and neighbors cars. Then there is the cotton and the seed packets. It has been dropping cotton for the last week.

Loaves & Fishes
We have a place in Rock Springs called the Loaves & Fishes. It's a place where anyone can come and get lunch during the week. It doesn't cost anything and all the food is donated. A little lady named Francis runs it and it's in the basement of the Catholic Church. Our ward goes over for one week during the Summer. I went over today and helped cook. We had pizza, sandwiches and salad. There were lots of people from Florida and Arizona who were up here. They just seemed very grateful to get a meal. They also have clothes that people can take what they need.
Two little kids got some coats, because we have had such a cold spring. It was a neat opportunity to help out a little. Sister Francis is what we call her and she is one of those angels to all.

Lilacs
Finally we have lilacs. We're only about a month behind everyone but they did bloom and I love the smell of them. I have several little lilac bushes but I'm so glad to have them. I really missed lilacs when we lived in Big Piney. We also got our garden in on Saturday after we came home from Greybull.
