Saying Goodbye to a friend...

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to Casper. I had Curt come with me because usually it's the kids and I that have to take our animals to the vet to say goodbye and Curt is at work. I knew I couldn't do this one alone. She was about 11 1/2 years old. We got her not too long after we moved to Big Piney. I guess I should list the things I like about having a dog and not the things I don't like.

1. They are good walking buddies. Casper and I walked a lot of miles together.
2. They clean the kitchen floor, and little left overs are never thrown in the trash.
3. They warn you of things going on outside. (like when the deer are walking down the alley)
4. Dogs like you even when you don't like yourself.
5. They can tell when you don't feel very well.

I guess I'll stop at five...there are a lot more.
