Memorial Weekend

This is a picture of last years Memorial weekend, since I didn't have my camera this year.

We went to Greeley to see Darren & Brenda for Memorial weekend, and Brice drove there from Omaha. The big news was the tornado that hit there on Thursday, but where Darren & Brenda live there was no sign of any tornado that was just miles away. We went to a Rockies Game, Indiana Jones Movie and to my favorite place to eat, Texas Road House. On Sunday we drove down by where Darren works and that was in the heart of the tornado. It was amazing to see the power of it all. I forgot to take my camera but Brice said he would send me some pictures. The guys went golfing on Tuesday morning before we left and I slept in. It was really nice. We got off and home safe and sound.

The weekend

We had a good weekend, first we went to Laramie on Friday night. We played with Grandkids
in the park.

Jordan has his own way of going down the slide and it works really well.

I was trying to be creative and get a picture of Trevor, Trish and the kids on the slide.

As you can see it sorta worked.

After the dance recital we drove to Powell to help Brent and Lindsay. This is a picture of Brent and Lindsay moving out of their home in Powell. She'll be on line soon but I thought I'd put this on anyway.

Machine Quilting

Ruth and I took a machine quilting class and we both finished our quilts this week. I really learned a lot in the class and now I just need to keep making them so I don't forget. It was a fun class.

My favorite part of the blanket is the little feet print material.

Strawberry Jam

Yesterday, I finally got some of my jam making done. We like homemade strawberry jam the best.

Graduation Weekend

Steve graduated!!! We're really proud of him. I'm sure Ruth will put more pictures and more details on her blog. Congratulations Steve!!!

Weekend

We finally got out in our yard and got some work done. We power raked our yard and fertilized it. It was stake conference here so we had a nice weekend of instruction. Now it's back to getting ready for Seminary on Wednesday and a lesson next Sunday.

Chilly week

Curt has been home this week but it's been too cold to do anything outside. We did go for a walk one night and I thought I was going to freeze. We're going to try to get some work done on Saturday but only if it's nice. Here's a picture of last summer just to remind us what it can be like.
