Firefighter Casey

It's hard to describe your feelings when your children accomplish incredible things. I have had that moment with each and everyone of my sons. Yesterday was one of those moments when I felt that great sense of accomplishment. Not for what I have ever done but what Steve has and will accomplish.
Ruth has really good details and more pictures on her blog. It was an awesome day.

Dogs

I'm generally a one dog person, but I've had the privilege of having two more dogs in the house.
Cheeko, Piney and Toby (aka Norman) have been together since the Raza family moved in.
I've gotten attached to these two male dogs, and I kind of like them. All the kids love Toby because he will let them carry him. Not that he likes it all that well but he puts up with it for a while. Cheeko has really soft fur and feels like a stuffed animal. He's just nice to pet. He drinks his water and it drips off his beard around the kitchen. These three dogs love to play especially Piney and Cheeko. They're going to miss each other when they get their new house.

Spring Break - Wyoming Style

We were going to go up skiing and we arrived at the White Pine to find the temperature 50 degrees at the Lodge and no skiing going on. We decided to go to Half Moon Lake and just get out for a few minutes. What happen next is what I call Spring break in Wyoming.
Everyone except me took off their shirts. Cameron first...

Brice sunned in the sand on the dry beach with the snow covered lake.

Steve raced over the ice and snow to start his tan...We went through Big Piney on our way home and stopped in LaBarge to eat. Great day.

Fun week with Stacy and Autumn

If you have read Brenda's blog then you know I had a fun week. Autumn loves to color and she colors so well.
I found a tea set for all the granddaughters and she set up all her animals for the party.

It was New Beginnings for Stacy so we went and saw the program. They gave each other a hug and kiss but I had to have them reenact it because I thought it was so cute.

These two girls are amazing to me. I love them both very much.

Skiing

Saturday we went skiing, Brice, Steve, Ruth, Curt and I. I don't ski very well but I like to ski. I always thought I might get better if I went skiing more than once or twice a year. It was such a beautiful day just to be outside and enjoy the day. Brice's birthday is today, so Happy Birthday Brice.

Puerto Vallarta

We went to church on Sunday and what a treat...even though it was all in Spanish you could feel the spirit.
This is the beach in Puerto Vallarta, not the one we played on.

This was made out of sand...awesome

This is a blue boobie bird. It's brown and white but it's feet are bright blue, you can just barely see his blue foot.

This is the yellow tail fish that Curt caught. It took about 25 minutes to get in the boat. It was a good fighter.

This is the evening sky...the skies were beautiful.

Another great sky.

Nancy and Gaylen going out to sea.

Brice and Cameron

The great hunter...no one else shot a pheasant. Way to go Brice!!
The sword fight is on. Brice and Cameron
We were all sick and couldn't go skiing so we went sledding just by the house. It was still a good New Years Day.
It's the middle of January and I haven't posted. I don't like to get through January and realize I haven't accomplished anything. I have been busy with genealogy and working on my office room. Which means starting to organize. It has to get messy to get clean. OUCH!!
