5K

Judy and I were talking and she said she'd like to do 1/2 marathon. I said I would do a 5K first.
She said great you can do that with me. I ran my first mile December 2010 and in March I ran my first three miles. I didn't get that great a time but I did get through it. I'm in the green shirt.

Summer project

We have this vacant lot in Greybull and we are putting a mobile home on it. Here it is with the footings done and waiting for the home to arrive.

We bought the mobile home in Billings and Curt went up and took off the porch so it could be moved down.

This is what it looked like before the porch was moved. I hope it looks this good after we get done with it. The home should be in Greybull next week. I won't really believe it until I hear it's there. We are learning a lot about utilities, building permits and getting the lot ready.

Master Bathroom

Just a couple of after and before pictures. This is what we have been doing since January. This is the shower now.

This is the vanity now. We were going to keep the same color but when we put it back with the new counter top it didn't look very well. So we painted it and it looks better. So we just kept it.

The shower before we took out the tub and put in the tile. We're almost done with our bedroom too. Not much difference just some new paint.

Worthen Meadow

We went up camping as a family at Worthen Meadow above Lander. Everyone came and it was our first official family reunion. Usually we just call it camping. Here's Stacy, Autumn and Cameron in a silly string fight.

I thought this was a cute picture of Piney looking out of the 5th wheel window.

We haven't had the little flat bottom boat out for years. It was fun using it again.

Cameron caught a fish!!! He was excited. My computer is too full to down load more pictures. So This will have to do for now. It was a fun trip with Steve and Ruth in charge. We had a fireman race and a golf competition. Brent won them both. Surprise.

North Dakota

This was our home away from home for two weeks while we were in Williston, North Dakota
Curt went up there to work and he asked me to tag along. It was a fun time.

During the weekend we were there, we went to Bismark. The Missouri River is beautiful there.

This was a replica of one of the Lewis and Clark boats. We took a walk down by the Missouri River.

There were all kinds of boats up and down the Missouri.

I was impressed by the churches in North Dakota, all different kinds. The main one seemed to be the Luthern. We were able to go to the Temple in Bismark. They were so excited to have us there.

4th of July

The fourth of July started with the Greely parade. Long horn cattle walking down the street.

Fireworks!!! I was so impressed with all the patriotism that day at the game and at the parade.

It was a wonderful 4th of July!!

Memorial Weekend

We went to the splash park before everyone left on Monday. Here's Autumn having fun.

Now they're trying to get Brice wet.

Brenda ran through everything without getting wet. Very tricky.

Darren, Stacy, & Autumn get dumped on....

Autumn and I made cookies on Saturday morning. I taught her how to play the flour, penny game and then she said she wanted to be a chief. She made yogurt out of flour, apple juice, and strawberries. We didn't taste it.

This last weekend, Brice, Darren, Brenda, Stacy, Autumn, Trevor, Trish, Steve, Ruth, Curt and I went to the Vernal temple to do some baptisms that I have been doing family history work on.

We did 8 female, so Stacy did those baptisms, and then Darren & Trevor did 12 male names. It was a neat thing to do on Memorial Weekend.
